Zoher and Co offers its screen expertise in construction of screen frames. These can be made as standard floating / wrap around frames with a double framework - front and back. Single frames can also be constructed for budget constricted theatres.

The frames are normally made using round iron pipes that are painted black. Hooks are provided at 8 inches on all sides.

Wrap Around Frame System

Application

x

The wrapround frame system involves wrapping a projection screen round a frame. It can be used in a wide range of applications from AV to Cinema use.

Flat or Curved

Wrapround frames can be flat or curved on the horizontal axis.

Projection Surface

The wrapround frame only supports front projection surfaces. The surface needs to be webbed and eyeletted but can be perforated or non perforated. The surface is easily mounted on the frame, it needs to be placed over the frame's screen rail and then laced to the frame's lacing bar.

Standard Frame System

Application

x

The standard frame system is a very popular system for general cinema and auditorium use. It is readily adaptable for most projection requirements.

Flat or Curved

Standard frames can be flat or curved on the horizontal axis although systems are rarely curved below 9 metres wide. When curved, the front and rear members are curved in parallel providing a consistent frame depth across the full width of the unit and minimising overall weight.

Mounting

Standard frames are usually floor standing with brace stabilisation to the rear.

Projection Surface

Standard frames always require a webbed and eyeletted screen surface which is laced into the frame. The lacing area needs to be covered by masking.
