Tubular motors are used mostly for application in motorised projection screens. There are a wide range of motors available in the market today; the most common motors used in India include Jolly, Somfy, Gaposa, Elero, Nice and Dooya to name a few. These are all normally available as 230V 50 Hz single phase tubular motors.
Often the motor is targetted to be economised upon by screen manufacturers as it is concealed within the screen and out of sight. However it depends on your luck if the screen gives you trouble free performance or requires to be looked into after a year or so.

Zoher and Company uses guaranteed motors of a reputed European manufacturer.

In case you are using a remote- you must check whether the receiver is in-built inside the motor or whether you have a seperate receiver box. In case of the latter; you need only connect the wires from the motor by matching the colours in the receiver box i.e. it is colour coded.

Also keep in mind that remotes also come in different types such as radio frequency and infra-red. The infra red transmittors have a range of 30 feet but need to be unobstructed and aimed only towards the receiver box. However the radio frequency remotes can work even through a concrete wall!
